It is with great pride that we welcome you to the home of the Mustangs! Black and Gold are the Mount Royal colours and we wear these with great pride and a strong sense of tradition. Our school community is noted for its excellence in academics, athletics, fine arts and technologies. Historically there is a long list of accomplishments in so many areas. The Mustang family is well known for its many accomplishments, for its sense of pride, respect for self and others, and its incredible hospitality.

The Mount Royal staff believes strongly in creating a safe and caring environment where we honour diversity, accept all individuals that choose to make MRC their school of choice and above all respect ourselves and others. Most importantly we work toward reaching our full potential and helping those around us to do the same. We create capacity for student leadership in our classrooms and through our extra-curricular programming. We encourage students to assume leadership roles that move us toward positive change. Change that we hope is going to be beneficial to our students as well as our staff and the entire community.

Mount Royal Collegiate has a very storied past. There are more than 52 years’ worth of memories, accomplishments and spirit that have helped to shape our school and build traditions that will continue for many more years. The reality is that it is all about the people that continue to call Mount Royal their “home” and truly strive to make it a most memorable and lasting piece of their life. It is this caring attitude and sense of belonging that shapes our building and the lives of those that enter it on a daily basis. We are looking forward to working with you and with your family.
